Full Day Bespoke Charters
Your Bespoke Scottish Adventure

Why join a scheduled tour when you can design your perfect Scottish marine adventure? Our private charter experience gives you complete control over your itinerary, duration, and focus—whether you’re celebrating a special occasion, planning a corporate event, or simply want an intimate experience with family and friends.

With a Seafari private charter, the boat is exclusively yours. Choose to focus on wildlife watching, visit remote islands, experience the Corryvreckan Whirlpool at your preferred time, explore hidden beaches, or create a multi-stop itinerary combining history, wildlife, and adventure. The choice is entirely yours.

Perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, proposals, family reunions, corporate team building, client entertainment, or simply a group of friends seeking an unforgettable day out. We’ve transported wedding parties from ceremony to reception, taken stag and hen groups for bracing sea air adventures, guided university research trips, and celebrated 80th birthday parties—each charter is unique.

Our experienced skippers work with you to create an itinerary that matches your interests, fitness levels, and aspirations. Want to land on a deserted beach for a picnic? Visit a whisky distillery accessible only by sea? Photograph puffins up close? Explore ancient monastic sites? It’s all possible with a private charter.

With flexible departure times and complete control over your schedule, a private charter offers the ultimate freedom to explore Scotland’s stunning west coast at your own pace. Whether you choose a two-hour focused experience or a full day of exploration, we’ll ensure your charter exceeds expectations.

Full Day Advantages

More Destinations

With 6-8 hours, visit multiple islands, remote locations, and hidden gems that shorter charters simply can’t reach. Explore properly.

}

Relaxed Pace

No rushing between stops. Enjoy extended shore time, leisurely lunches, and genuine exploration rather than quick photo stops.

Multi-Experience Days

Combine wildlife watching, historical sites, adventure activities, and relaxation all in one day. The ultimate Scottish experience.

Island Time

Extended shore visits for proper exploration, meals at island restaurants, beach time, distillery tours, or anything else you envision.

Your Day, Your Way

A full day charter is the ultimate way to experience Scotland’s west coast. With 6-8 hours at your disposal, you have the time to create something truly special—whether that’s an epic multi-island adventure, an immersive corporate team-building day, a whisky connoisseur’s dream tour, or a multi-generational family celebration.

This isn’t just about having more time on the water—it’s about what that time allows you to do. Visit three or four islands instead of one. Stop for a proper lunch at a remote island restaurant. Include a pre-booked distillery tour as part of your itinerary. Spend an hour on a deserted beach. Combine high-speed thrills with peaceful wildlife watching. The possibilities are genuinely limitless.

Charter Inspiration

Corporate & Team Building

Full day charters are perfect for corporate events. Take your team away from the office environment for a shared adventure that genuinely brings people together. We can structure the day around team-building activities, include time for business discussions in spectacular settings, or simply provide unforgettable experiences that reward and motivate your staff.

Our experienced crew can facilitate team challenges, arrange catering, coordinate with other suppliers (restaurants, distilleries, activity providers), and ensure the day runs smoothly from start to finish. We’ve hosted everyone from multinational corporations to small business teams, and we understand how to make corporate charters successful.

Multi-Generational Families

Extended charters work beautifully for whole family adventures. Grandparents can enjoy relaxed shorelines, children adore high-speed sections, and teenagers will love the adventure. With a full day, you can pace activities to suit everyone’s energy levels and interests.

Special Occasions

Milestone birthdays, significant anniversaries, retirement celebrations—a full day charter creates memories that last a lifetime. We’ve celebrated 80th birthdays, 50th wedding anniversaries, retirement parties, and everything in between. If it’s important to you, we’ll make it unforgettable.

The Seafari Difference

What sets our full day charters apart is our local knowledge and flexibility. Our skippers have decades of experience and intimate knowledge of these waters. They know the best spots for wildlife, the hidden beaches, the quietest anchorages, the best island lunch spots, and how to read weather and tides to optimise your day. Most importantly, they’re excellent at adapting—if something unexpected comes up (wildlife, improving weather, a location you love), we’ll adjust the plan to make the most of it.
Example Full Day Itineraries

While your charter will be completely customised, these examples demonstrate what’s possible with 6-8 hours. Think of these as inspiration rather than fixed routes—we’ll work with you to create your ideal day.

Frequently Asked Questions.

How far in advance should we book?

For summer weekends (May-September), we recommend booking 3-6 months ahead, especially for corporate groups. Shoulder season and midweek dates have more availability—sometimes we can accommodate requests with just 2-4 weeks notice. If you have a specific date in mind, contact us as early as possible.

What if we're not sure exactly what we want to do?

That’s completely normal and why we have the consultation process. Our crew have decades of experience and hundreds of charters under their belts. Tell us about your group, what you’re celebrating or trying to achieve, and any interests or constraints. We’ll suggest itineraries that have worked brilliantly for similar groups. Most clients find our suggestions better than what they’d initially envisioned.

Can we bring food and drinks?

Yes to both. Many clients bring their own picnics and drinks. For catered options, we can arrange everything from packed lunches to premium spreads.

What happens if weather is poor on our booked day?

Scottish weather is changeable! We’ll monitor forecasts closely. If conditions are unsuitable, we’ll work with you to reschedule—we want you to have the best possible experience. For corporate groups with immovable dates, we’ll have contingency plans (alternative routes, different activities) to maximise the day even in less-than-perfect weather.

Can we really go anywhere?

Almost! We’re limited by what’s safely reachable in your timeframe, sea conditions, and tide-dependent locations. But within those parameters, yes—we can visit any island, coastline, or marine location in the area. Want to visit a specific beach your grandparents remember? A remote island you’ve read about? A particular distillery? Tell us and we’ll make it happen.

How many people can you accommodate for large corporate groups?

Each boat holds 12 passengers maximum. For groups of 13-36, we can deploy multiple boats simultaneously. We’ve hosted groups of 40+ by running charters in waves or using our full fleet. Contact us to discuss large group logistics.

What about team building activities?

Our crew can facilitate simple team challenges (navigation exercises, island challenges, photography competitions). For more structured team building, we can coordinate with specialist facilitators who’ll join the charter. We’ve also hosted everything from informal bonding to serious leadership development programs.

Can we combine this with other activities like kayaking or coasteering?

Yes! We can transport kayaks and drop you at starting points, or coordinate with activity centres for specialist experiences. Tell us what you’re imagining and we’ll work out the logistics.

Is there a toilet on board?

Our Cabin RIB has toilet facilities. The Open RIBs don’t, but with 6-8 hours, we’ll plan stops on islands where facilities are available.

What if someone in our group has mobility limitations?

We’ve successfully hosted many guests with various mobility needs. Both our Open RIBs and Landing Craft can accommodate wheelchair users. The key is discussing specific requirements in advance so we can plan appropriately and ensure everyone has a fantastic day.

Can you provide photography or video of our charter?

Our crew will happily take photos with your cameras/phones. For professional photography or video, we can arrange specialists at additional cost—popular for corporate charters and significant celebrations.

What about insurance and safety certifications?

All vessels are fully coded by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency, comprehensively insured, and carry complete safety equipment. Our skippers are qualified and experienced. We can provide insurance certificates and safety documentation for corporate compliance requirements.
